We require two seats to be filled for an in-person class. At 10 days prior we will let you know if that isn't true and shift your event date to a future date of your discretion.

Cancel +30 Days Before Class
You'll get your money back, minus a 5% processing fee. Want to swap to a different course? Let us know at least 30 days out, and we'll see if we can make it happen, depending on availability.

No cash back on this one, sorry. But we'll cut you a deal — 50% off one future class within a year if there's a spot open.

When We Have to Cancel
We'll do everything we can to avoid this, but sometimes stuff happens—blackouts, emergencies, you name it. If we have to pull the plug, you'll get a full credit for another class.

FAQs

Both actually. When you buy this in-person course "CNC Router Unicorn Training," you'll also receive our Fusion CAD Introduction course which is online only.

We strongly recommend you take the Fusion CAD Introduction prior to taking the in-person portion. We won't cover the CAD portion in-person.

  • Laptop that can run Fusion - while not absolutely necessary, we recommend bringing a laptop that can run Autodesk Fusion. This will help you follow along and learn on your own machine. We do not have extra computers for you to use. We will have power for you to connect to.
  • Mouse - Using Fusion without a mouse is rough, don't forget a mouse.
  • Autodesk Fusion - Preferably a paid license, the free license will work but has many limitations. You can also use a 30-day trial.
  • Attire to Learn in our Workshop - It's a clean but industrial shop. Expect sawdust, mid-60's temps
  • Your Own PPE (Optional) - if you have preferences, bring your own eye and hearing protection, the former will be required at all times.
  • Notebook (Optional) - take notes

See our open training events below and register above to signup.

Nope, we will use our ShopSabre PRO 408 in the training but nothing is specific to the machine. We will teach concepts, tips, and advice that is machine agnostic.

You're very experienced

If you're an experienced CNC router operator AND programmer, you may find the lessons too introductory. There will be takeaways but you may not feel you're getting the most for your money.

You want specific project help

If you're looking for specific project assistance or guidance this also is likely not for you. We won't be able to help you with your specific questions on your project as this is a group event.

However, don't be afraid to ask questions that will help you out just know we can't tailor the experience to you for the sake of the others attending.

You want to run our CNC machines

We plan to show our machines operating but it's not likely each student will get to actually run our CNC machines.

If you're still unsure, just send us a message.
